The VX-2200 Series mobiles are designed for reliable business communications in a wide variety of applications with a wide range of operating capability provided by their 25 Watt or high power (50 Watts on VHF/45 Watts on UHF) output and wide-band coverage (134 - 174MHz / 400 - 470 MHz / 450 - 512 MHz).

• 5-tone encode and decode - The built-in 5-tone decoder allows for 8 decode strings per channel if needed. Besides a simple alert, the decode function can also:

• Emergency feature - The built in emergency function can switch to an emergency channel, send the ENI,etc.
  

• DTMF ANI - The VX-2200 mobiles come with DTMF ANI built in.
